for removing yarn wastes from metal yarn carriers
It is a patented machine that removes yarn wastes from bobbins, tubes and metal cops of all shapes and dimensions. It is quick and safe, and enables to recover wastes without damaging fibers or plastic flanges, Tagliastrazza is especially suitable for yarns made of thermoplastic materials (nylon 6 - nylon 6.6, polyester, acrylics, polypropylene, etc.), although it can also be used with some other artificial and natural fibers.
Yarn is cut by a jet of hot compressed air, without any direct contact of the machine with the yarn carrier. Wastes are dropped into a container. The machine is extremely user friendly, it's totally safe and doesn't require the presence of qualified personnel. It is self-contained, and just needs three-phase power supply and compressed air feed. A CE certified fume purifier with activated charcoal filters can be supplied on request.
